NIHR Chairman receives UK Deputy Head of Mission

Manama, May 14 (BNA): Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Fiona Walker Doyle, the Deputy Head of Mission of the United Kingdom to Bahrain.

The meeting reviewed efforts to strengthen cooperation in promoting and protecting human rights and included an exchange of views on several topics of common interest.

The discussion also highlighted the NIHR’s efforts to carry out its mandate as stipulated in its founding law.
