SDAIA Chief Meets AMD CEO to Discuss Strengthening Strategic Cooperation in AI

   Riyadh, May 15, 2025, SPA -- President of the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi met on Wednesday at SDAIA’s headquarters in Riyadh with Chair and CEO of AMD Dr. Lisa Su and her accompanying delegation.
   The meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides under the memorandum of understanding signed on the sidelines of the Saudi-US Investment Forum, aiming to promote joint efforts to support diversity and innovation in developing the Kingdom’s artificial intelligence ecosystem.
   During the visit, the delegation was briefed on SDAIA's key achievements and initiatives in data and AI. They also toured the SDAIA Tech Museum, viewed AI-generated artworks from "AI Arthon," and learned about SDAIA’s efforts in developing smart cities.
   The visit comes as part of SDAIA’s efforts to expand international cooperation with leading global technology companies and leverage these partnerships to support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. These efforts aim to build a sustainable digital economy based on innovation and artificial intelligence, positioning the Kingdom among the world’s leading data- and AI-driven economies.
