King Salman International Airport Development Awards Contracts to Develop Runways, Aircraft Parking, and Control Tower

   Riyadh, May 14, 2025, SPA -- King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC), a PIF-owned establishment, announced on the sidelines of the Saudi-US Investment Forum that it has awarded two Delivery Partner (DP) contracts to Parsons Corporation, a global leader in aviation solutions. The four-year contracts task Parsons with developing critical airport infrastructure and providing comprehensive project management services.
   The scope includes airside facilities such as runways, taxiways, aircraft parking areas, and air traffic control tower, along with ground infrastructure including roads, tunnels, bridges, railway networks, and landscaping.
   Parsons will also manage all project phases from initial planning through to final handover, with responsibility for design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
   KSIADC Acting CEO Marco Mejia stated, "Selecting Parsons as DP represents a strategic step toward our vision of building a world-class airport combining innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency. This mega project requires strong partnerships with global infrastructure and project management experts, and Parsons brings the experience and capability to help achieve our goals."
