Youth Affairs Minister meets Bahraini inventors

Manama, May 12 (BNA): Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Bahraini inventors Zahra Isa Ali and Yusra Salahuddin Al Naddawi following their success at the 2025 International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), held in Kuwait, where they won silver medals for their inventions.

Minister Tawfiqi commended their achievement and underscored the Ministry’s ongoing support for youth innovation, highlighting the creative potential of Bahraini youth and their ability to compete internationally. She emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering innovation across scientific and technical sectors as a driver of development and global competitiveness.

During the meeting, Zahra Isa presented her invention, a luminous sand art board using specialised moulds designed to preserve artworks for up to ten years, supported by periodic electrical maintenance. Yusra Al Naddawi introduced her innovative medical gown, which enhances patient comfort and privacy during medical procedures and improves rehabilitation outcomes.
