Arab Urban Development Institute Signs MOUs at AECD 2025

   Riyadh, May 12, 2025, SPA -- Under the patronage of Riyadh Mayor and President of the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, the institute today signed two memoranda of understanding. The agreements with Metropolis, the global network of major cities and metropolitan areas, and Fira de Barcelona, the Smart City Expo World Congress organizer, aim to boost cooperation and partnerships with leading international organizations in urban governance, innovation, and city-to-city knowledge exchange.
   The signings took place during the Arab European Cities Dialogue (AECD 2025) in Riyadh, which gathered over 100 Arab and European cities, alongside international organizations, municipal federations, and urban development bodies. The event highlights Riyadh's growing prominence as a regional hub for international urban dialogue.
   These partnerships underscore AUDI's leadership in building institutional cooperation between Arab cities and their global counterparts, promoting comprehensive development and effective urban policies.
