Bus Guidance Center in Makkah Facilitates Transport for Over 70,000 Pilgrims

Makkah, May 12, 2025, SPA -- The Bus Guidance Center for Transporting Pilgrims from Abroad in Makkah has announced it has guided more than 70,000 pilgrims between Dhu al-Qidah 1 and 14, utilizing over 2,500 buses during this period.
Director General of the center Abdullah Sindi stated that trained Saudi guides lead these efforts using smart tablets equipped with precise geographic mapping systems. Real-time monitoring is conducted through a central control and operations center that tracks each bus from departure at transport stations to arrival at pilgrims' residences.
The center operates under the umbrella of the Coordination Council of Hajj and Umrah Service Providers and Heads of Hajj Organizations, in collaboration with the General Syndicate of Cars and under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The "Arshidni" digital platform is central to its operations and was developed as a comprehensive smart system for managing transportation logistics. The platform allows for real-time tracking, instant trip data updates, and direct communication with on-the-ground guides. These innovations aim to enhance operational efficiency and significantly improve the quality of transportation services provided to the pilgrims.
