Palestinian President receives Bahraini Ambassador to Russia

Moscow, May 11 (BNA): Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of Bahrain to Russia, participated in a meeting held by His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, with the heads of accredited Arab diplomatic missions in Moscow. The meeting was held on the occasion of HE President Abbas's visit to Russia to participate in the commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to HE the President. He also conveyed their wishes for his continued abundant health and well-being, and for lasting security, stability and prosperity for the Palestinian people.
On his part, HE President Abbas relayed his sincere greetings to His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He commended the Kingdom's support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to establish an independent and sovereign state based on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, following the two-state solution and relevant United Nations resolutions.
During the meeting, HE the President spoke about the latest developments regarding the Palestinian cause and the efforts underway to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
