Shura Chairman meets with Jordanian Senate President

Rabat, Apr. 29 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Faisal Akef Al Fayez, President of the Jordanian Senate, on the sidelines of the South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in Rabat.

The Shura Chairman highlighted the strong historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, supported by the leaderships of both countries. He noted the growing cooperation in health, education, culture, and the economy, and emphasised the importance of enhancing parliamentary coordination.

Al Fayez commended Bahrain as a strategic partner for Jordan and emphasised the solid foundations of trust and mutual respect between the two countries. He commended the Shura Council’s active role in supporting Arab parliamentary work.

The meeting was attended by Hisham Hashem Al Qassab and Kareema Mohamed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council.
