Shura Council Chairman meets with Egyptian Speaker

Rabat, Apr. 29 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Abdelwahab Abdelrazek, Speaker of the Egyptian Senate, on the sidelines of the South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in Rabat.
Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh highlighted the historical and strategic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of Egypt. He emphasised the expanding cooperation across education, health, economy, culture, and trade, and underlined Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing parliamentary ties with the Egyptian Senate.
The Shura Chairman also commended Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian issue.
Abdelrazek emphasised the continued growth of Bahrain-Egypt relations, grounded in mutual respect and long-standing ties. He underscored the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation to support legislative development and deepen bilateral partnerships.
The meeting was attended by Ijlal Isa Bubshait, Hisham Hashem Al Qassab, and Kareema Mohamed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council.
