Shura Council Chairman meets Moroccan House of Councilors President

Rabat, Apr. 29 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Mohamed Ould Rachid, President of the Moroccan House of Councillors, on the sidelines of the third South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in Rabat. The forum was organised by the Moroccan House of Councillors and the Association of Senates, Shura and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World.


 

Al Saleh underscored the strategic and historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Morocco, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco.


 

He highlighted the growing cooperation across political, economic, cultural, and parliamentary domains, and commended Morocco’s role in promoting Arab-African parliamentary dialogue.


 

Both sides commended the exchange of visits, unified positions in international forums, and efforts to enhance legislative cooperation. Rachid expressed pride in the Bahraini-Moroccan partnership and commended the Shura Council’s active contributions to advancing parliamentary cooperation.


 

The meeting was attended by Hisham Hashem Al Qassab and Kareema Mohamed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council.
