Ambassador to Egypt participates in 163rd Arab League ordinary session

Cairo, Apr. 23 (BNA): Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, participated in the 163rd ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent representatives.

The meeting reviewed the handing over of the presidency of the Council at the level of permanent representatives from the Republic of Yemen to the presidency of the 162nd regular session to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which will assume the presidency of the 163rd session of the Council.

The Council also approved the draft agenda and draft resolutions for submission to the Council at the ministerial level.

During the meeting, Zainal discussed the promotion of joint Arab action, the Palestinian cause and the Arab-Israeli conflict, the file of Arab affairs and Arab national security, the files of Arab international cooperation, and the files of economic, political, and social affairs of Arab countries.
