Baghdad /NINA/- President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed Iraq's keenness to establish balanced relations with countries based on the principle of respect for sovereignty.
The presidency said in a statement, "The President of the Republic received today, Thursday, at Baghdad Palace, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the President stressed the importance of regional stability and reducing tensions through sustained cooperation between Iraq, Turkey, and other countries. He emphasized Iraq's keenness to establish balanced relations based on the principle of respect for sovereignty and joint coordination to address issues.
