Saudi Arabia Carpets Bangkok's Largest Mosque with High-Quality Rugs

Bangkok, March 25, 2025, SPA -- On Monday, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the Islamic Advisor's Office at the Saudi Embassy in Thailand, completed the carpeting of the Islamic Center Mosque of Bangkok, with high-quality rugs at the expense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The carpeting project for the mosque, which accommodates 3,000 worshippers and is one of the most prominent historical landmarks in Bangkok's Islamic Center, is part of the Saudi ministry's efforts to care for mosques and prepare them to facilitate worship with ease, tranquillity, and reverence. This initiative reflects the unwavering support of wise leadership in serving Islam and Muslims.
The Islamic Center in Thailand serves as a hub for learning and promoting a better understanding of Islam, offering activities to enhance the quality of life for Muslims. It also functions as a coordination center for collaboration between governmental Islamic organizations and other religious institutions to support the development of Thai society.
