Araqchi, Omani foreign minister discuss regional, bilateral issues

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, during an official visit to Muscat on Sunday.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Araqchi discussed key issues with Al-Busaidi, regional developments, including the ongoing situation in Yemen and U.S. recent criminal attacks on the country.

The two sides also reviewed the latest state of bilateral relations.

According to the Oman News Agency, the foreign ministers of the two neighboring countries highlighted the need to foster favorable conditions for diplomatic solutions, prioritize dialogue channels, and utilize peaceful methods to resolve issues and ease tensions.
