FM Bayramov: Negotiations on draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan completed

Baku, March 13, AZERTAC
“The negotiation process on the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been completed. We have stated several times that there were two unsolved issues remaining. Recently, the Armenian side accepted Azerbaijan's proposals on those unresolved issues and conveyed them to us through communication channels. Therefore, we can note that the work on the text has been completed,” Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister, told journalists.
"As the next step, Azerbaijan expects that Armenia will amend its Constitution and other normative-legal acts to eliminate claims against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Of course, this is a prerequisite for signing the agreement. In addition, the dissolution of the Minsk Group and its other institutions, remnants of the past conflict, is a pivotal factor," the minister noted.
