Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry praises IRNA as trusted voice for Iran and world

Islamabad, IRNA – In a message marking the 90th anniversary of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan has lauded IRNA as a reliable voice for the Iranian people and a dependable news source for the global community.

In his congratulatory message to IRNA’s CEO, Hossein Jaberi-Ansari, Khan said, “I am very happy to extend my sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).”

Khan highlighted IRNA’s longstanding commitment to professionalism and accurate reporting, saying, “Since its establishment 90 years ago, IRNA has acted as a reliable voice for the Iranian people and a reliable source of news for the international community.”

He added that the agency’s dedication to balanced journalism has earned it widespread respect and admiration.

The spokesperson also expressed satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration between IRNA and Pakistan’s official news agency, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), emphasizing Pakistan’s deep appreciation for IRNA’s role in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two nations.
