HM King receives Speaker, Shura Council Chairmen, Supreme Judicial Council Deputy Chairman

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives; Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council; and Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation, at Al Sakhir Palace on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the adoption of the National Action Charter.

The officials extended their congratulations to HM the King. They commended the Kingdom’s progress under His Majesty’s leadership and highlighted Bahrain’s achievements across all sectors.

They also noted the Kingdom’s distinguished reputation and respected standing on the international stage, attributing these accomplishments to HM the King’s vision and policies.

HM the King thanked them and emphasised that the National Action Charter remains a foundation for Bahrain’s development, supporting democratic and economic progress in line with the aspirations of the Bahraini people.

His Majesty commended the contributions of the legislative authority in advancing national development, preserving achievements, and safeguarding national interests. His Majesty also lauded the judiciary's role in upholding justice, equality, and the protection of rights and freedoms.

HM the King underscored the importance of continued coordination between the executive and legislative authorities to serve the Kingdom and its people and support Bahrain’s comprehensive development goals.
