S. Korea's exports inch up 0.8 pct in Feb. 1-10

SEOUL, Feb. 11 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's exports rose slightly from a year earlier in the first 10 days of this month, data showed Tuesday.

Outbound shipments reached US$14.9 billion in the Feb. 1-10 period, up 0.8 percent from $15.01 billion tallied over the same period last year, according to the data from the Korea Customs Service.

Imports gained 0.3 percent on-year to $17.1 billion during the period, resulting in a trade deficit of $2.2 billion.
