MWL Condemns Netanyahu's Gaza Displacement Remarks

Makkah, February 10, 2025, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned recent remarks by Benjamin Netanyahu suggesting the displacement of people from the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued by the league, MWL Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa denounced these remarks as barbaric and a violation of international law, state sovereignty, and the Palestinian people's right to an independent state.
On behalf of Muslim scholars and communities worldwide, Al-Issa commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its recent statements, issued on February 5 and 9, reaffirming its unwavering support for a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. He praised Saudi Arabia's call for an end to the Israeli occupation and its urging of peace-loving nations to recognize the State of Palestine until it gains full UN membership.
Al-Issa acknowledged Saudi Arabia's significant efforts and historical summits in support of the Palestinian cause, condemning the violence in Gaza, and mobilizing international support for Palestinian self-determination and the establishment of an independent state on its occupied lands.
