Bahrain condemns irresponsible Israeli statements regarding Saudi Arabia

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the irresponsible Israeli statements regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state on the territory of Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom considered the statements a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and support for its security, stability, and sovereignty.

The ministry's statement further stressed that a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East depends on safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people, preventing their displacement, and establishing an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty, enabling peaceful coexistence with Israel in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
