HRH the Deputy King receives the President of the AWA

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received Susie Bower, President of the American Women’s Association (AWA), along with members of its Board of Directors, at Riffa Palace.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the American Women’s Association.
His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the role of civil society associations in strengthening bilateral relations by furthering cooperation and joint coordination across various levels, emphasising the importance of expanding these efforts to achieve shared aspirations for both sides.

For their part, the President and members of the Board of Directors of the AWA expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, acknowledging HRH the Deputy King’s commitment to further strengthening the Bahrain-US partnership across all fields.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), also attended the meeting.
