Saudi Arabia Condemns Attack on Saudi Hospital in El-Fasher, Sudan

Riyadh, January 26, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today expressing Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack on the Saudi hospital in El-Fasher, Sudan. This attack resulted in the death and injury of several people, violating international and humanitarian laws.
The Kingdom reiterated its rejection of these violations and emphasized the critical need to protect health and humanitarian workers. It urged self-restraint and the avoidance of targeting civilians, calling for adherence to the commitments made in the Jeddah Declaration of Commitment to Protect the Civilians of Sudan, issued on May 11, 2023. Saudi Arabia also extended its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
