-(DIP) TURKEY'S FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS FM OF UNITED ARAB EMIRATES 

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 07.07.2009 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met Foreign Minister Abdallah bin Zayid al-Nuhayyan of United Arab Emirates in Istanbul on Tuesday.
The meeting which took place within the scope of the first meeting of foreign ministers of the Turkey-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) High Level Strategic Dialogue lasted for one and a half hour.
Foreign ministers of Oman, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as well as GCC Secretary-General Abdul Rahman bin Hamad al Attiyah will participate in the meeting.
The dialogue, which was established in September 2008, aims to constitute a political consultation mechanism between Turkey and the GCC.
