Dr. Ibrahim Al-Furaih Appointed as Secretary-General of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council

Riyadh, December 24, 2024, SPA -- The Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council has approved the appointment of Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Furaih as the council's secretary-general for a five-year term.
This appointment took place during the first regular session of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council, held on Monday in Riyadh.
The council, established based on Saudi Arabia's proposal, is composed of Arab ministers responsible for cybersecurity affairs.
It operates under the Arab League and is headquartered in Riyadh. The council is tasked with shaping public policies, developing strategies, and setting priorities to enhance Arab cooperation in cybersecurity.
It addresses security, economic, development, and legislative cybersecurity issues and approves joint Arab plans to implement the policies and strategies agreed upon within the council.
