Riyadh, December 19, 2024, SPA -- United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Li Junhua has praised Saudi Arabia's significant role in the success of the 19th global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) held in Riyadh.
During a press conference, Li commended Saudi Arabia's remarkable progress under its ambitious Vision 2030, led by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a shining example for other nations and partners, demonstrating a strong commitment and political will toward sustainable development. This progress, he noted, inspires regional and international communities to intensify collective efforts to achieve common goals.

The Riyadh Declaration is a roadmap for enhancing international partnerships and uniting efforts to harness digital technologies.
