King Abdulaziz Camel Festival Receives Foreign Delegations from Seven Countries
Al-Sayahid, December 11, 2024, SPA -- The ninth edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, held under the theme "Pride of Its People" in Al-Sayahid, north of Riyadh, received foreign visitors from seven countries representing diplomatic and government bodies and private companies from France, Sweden, Japan, Russia, Britain, Colombia, and Nigeria, where they were briefed on the details of the festival celebrating the ancient camel heritage.
Guests toured the festival halls, gaining insight into the various breeds and colors of camels, as well as the competition rules and judging mechanisms. They expressed their admiration for the efforts made to showcase events that professionally and creatively represent the Kingdom's culture and heritage.
France's Sivana Lordi, who is visiting the festival for the first time, expressed her fascination with the organization of the festival, stressing that camels are an authentic cultural symbol linked to the Kingdom's heritage. She said that such events contribute to acquainting international visitors with their historical significance.
