Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program Visit Quba Mosque in Madinah

Madinah, November 24, 2024, SPA -- The first group of guests participating in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation for the year 1446 AH visited Quba Mosque in Madinah. During their visit, they were briefed on the ongoing expansion projects at the mosque, a key part of their religious itinerary in Madinah, before traveling to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals.
The guests, hosted by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, explored the newly expanded sections of the mosque. Quba Mosque, founded by the Prophet Mohammed upon his migration to Madinah from Makkah, holds immense religious and historical significance in Islam.
The visitors expressed admiration for Quba Mosque, noting its profound historical and spiritual value. They learned about the mosque’s role as a symbol of national heritage, pride, and honor. Furthermore, the guests commended the magnitude of the mosque's ongoing expansion, which forms part of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s project to expand and develop the surrounding area.
