KAFD Announces Speakers, Knowledge Partners in Second Annual Leadership Conference
Riyadh, November 18, 2024, SPA -- The King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC) has announced the lineup of speakers for the upcoming second edition of the KAFD Annual Leadership Conference (KALC), set to be held on November 20-21 at the KAFD Conference Center in Riyadh.
Under the theme "Charting Future Leadership Frontiers," this year's conference will convene 23 global experts and industry leaders in 20 sessions to address the evolving demands of leadership in an era defined by rapid change and digital transformation, according to a press release.
It said that the event features former FBI negotiator and acclaimed author Chris Voss, sharing the spotlight with Sara Al Sayed, Deputy Minister for International Investor Relations at the Saudi Ministry of Investment. Also participating are notable Saudi figures such as business leader Muna AbuSulayman, Olympic rower Husein Alireza, and aerospace engineer Mishaal Ashemimry, highlighting Saudi Arabia's commitment to resilience, innovation, and leadership.
The conference also includes a diverse roster of international speakers, including Vishen Lakhiani, founder of Mindvalley; Mo Gawdat, entrepreneur and bestselling author; John Coyle, Olympic medalist and Emmy-winning producer; and Magnus Penker, founder of Innovation 360 and a leading voice in digital transformation. Among several other speakers, they will share insights on modern leadership, innovation, and navigating complex global challenges.
CEO of Al Nassr FC Guido Fienga will explore the intersection of sports and leadership, offering a unique perspective on how football supports the Kingdom's ambition to become a global leader in sports. Meanwhile, masterclasses by experts such as Hesham El Gamal and Marwan Aljahani will delve into human-centered transformation and strategies for addressing global economic challenges.
The press release added that as part of its commitment to delivering world-class content, the KAFD has partnered with two knowledge partners—New York University (NYU) Abu Dhabi and Saudi consulting firm Transform. "Both partners will lead dedicated sessions, sharing their expertise and offering actionable strategies for navigating today's rapidly changing business landscape. Knowledge partnerships remain central to KALC's mission to equip leaders with the tools to address current challenges while preparing for the future," it stated.
