Gharibabadi: Grossi Will Meet with Mohammadi

The Deputy Foreign Minister announced that the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will meet with Masoud Pezeshkian during his upcoming visit to Tehran.

According to Mehr News Agency, Kazem Gharibabadi, in a message on the social media platform X, wrote that the Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, will arrive in Tehran on Wednesday night for a two-day visit.

The Deputy Minister for Legal and International Affairs emphasized that this visit is part of the ongoing interactions between Iran and the IAEA, as well as in line with the joint statement issued on March 4, 2023, by both parties.

He continued by stating that Mr. Grossi will meet with the President, the Foreign Minister, and the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.

Gharibabadi added that Iran is committed to continuing its cooperation with the IAEA within the framework of its safeguards obligations, unless some countries, motivated by political interests, attempt to undermine the efforts of the Director General and the forward-moving relations between Iran and the Agency.
