Saudi Quality of Life Program Participates in Global Quality of Life Conference in Egypt

Cairo, November 02, 2024, SPA -- The Quality of Life Program, part of Saudi Vision 2030, participated in the Global Quality of Life Conference held today by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat). The conference will continue for two days alongside the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF12), taking place from November 4 to 8 in Cairo.
The event was attended by key figures, including the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini; the Saudi Ambassador to Kenya, Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Salman; and CEO of the Quality of Life Program Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Bakr.
At the conference, the Quality of Life Program showcased the comprehensive urban transformations occurring in Saudi Arabia, which aim to achieve several strategic goals of Saudi Vision 2030. These goals notably include improving the urban landscape and enhancing the quality of services in Saudi cities. The program collaborates with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and other relevant authorities to prioritize people in urban development projects. It also emphasizes efforts to promote environmental sustainability and digital transformation in urban design.
The Global Quality of Life Conference, organized by UN-Habitat, seeks to share global experiences aimed at improving the quality of life worldwide. It will discuss the use of big data and the involvement of local communities in developing international quality-of-life indicators.
