Symposium in Chengdu showcases research on AZERTAC's China articles

The 14th Symposium on News and Communication Psychology convened at Sichuan Pedagogical University in Chengdu, China, focusing on "Smart Communication and Development of Society: Discover the Psychology of Communication."

Aghshin Aliyev, Head of the Azerbaijani Language Department at Beijing Foreign Studies University, presented research analyzing around 6,000 AZERTAC articles on China. Using text and statistical analysis, he explored Azerbaijan-China relations, China’s image in Azerbaijan, and collaboration within the Belt and Road Initiative.

He also highlighted the history and activities of AZERTAC and its cooperation with prominent Chinese media outlets such as Xinhua, China Daily, and Global Times.

The symposium attracted over 100 scholars from more than 50 universities.
