Kyrgyzstan purchases18.3 tons of pasture grass seeds from Russia

Kyrgyzstan purchased 18.3 tons of pasture grass seeds from Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

A tender for the purchase of pasture grass seeds was previously announced, as a result of which a contract was signed with individual entrepreneur A. Golenkov for the purchase of 295 thousand 714 kg of pasture grass seeds for reseeding by 2024 on 32.1 hectares of degraded pastures in the republic.

The individual entrepreneur delivered 18.3 tons of narrow-spike ryegrass seeds from among the pasture grass seeds specified in the contract to Kyrgyzstan from Russia, and work is underway to import the remaining seeds.
