Kyrgyzstan takes part in 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum in Yinchuan

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov attended the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, held in Yinchuan city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
In his address, Edil Baisalov emphasized that this event will give new dynamics to deepening and expanding traditionally friendly relations between the countries of Central Asia and China, the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet said.
Noting the relevance of the Cooperation Forum’s theme “Promoting green development to build a common home”, Baisalov drew attention to the fact that green development is becoming a necessary element of a sustainable future.
“Kyrgyzstan proposes to strengthen and universalize the debt swap mechanism for the green economy, thus helping developing countries and less developed countries to jointly combat climate change. The Kyrgyz Republic pays special attention to climate issues in the implementation of its national policy and, based on the principles of green development, sets itself the ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050,” the deputy head of the Cabinet noted.
He also emphasized the importance of implementing the “Five-Year Action Plan for the Development of Mountain Regions for 2023-2027” and the Second Global Mountain Summit “Bishkek+25” planned for 2027 in Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, Edil Baisalov visited the photo exhibition “Achievements of China-Central Asia Cooperation” and took part in the tree planting ceremony at the alley of the 11th Cooperation Forum.
