Russian President meets Foreign Minister

Kazan, Oct. 24 (BNA): His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, met with Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the BRICS summit in Tatarstan.

President Putin expressed his gratitude for Bahrain's participation in the summit and relayed his regards to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

On his part, Dr. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings of HM King Hamad and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to President Putin and their wishes of further development and prosperity for Russia and its people. He emphasised Bahrain's appreciation for participating in the BRICS summit, highlighting the deep historical ties between the two nations and the positive outcomes achieved during the event.
