Malaysian King Receives Credentials of Nine Foreign Envoys
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, received the credentials of nine foreign envoys to Malaysia at Istana Negara, here, Monday
The nine foreign envoys are Thepthavone Sengmany of Laos, Niklas Wiberg (Sweden), Anne Vasara (Finland) and Kirstine Vangkilde Berner (Denmark).
Others are Ali Mohamed Abukar (Federal Republic of Somalia), Rafael Daerr (European Union), Jodi Robinson (Canada), Marta Laura Gabrieloni (Argentina), and Jimmy Ovia (Papua New Guinea).
At the ceremony, Sultan Ibrahim also presented instruments of appointment to the Malaysian Ambassador to Algeria, Rizany Irwan Muhamad Mazlan, and Malaysian High Commissioner to Canada, Dr Shazelina Zainul Abidin.
Also present at the ceremony were Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan, Foreign Ministry Deputy Secretary-general (Bilateral Affairs) Ahmad Rozian Abd Ghani and Wisma Putra Chief of Protocol Datuk Yubazlan Yusof.
