Positive Efforts to Develop and Use Solar Energy

 Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- Various units in Pyongyang Municipality are striving to develop and use solar energy.
The Rungnado Trade Bureau has installed more than 300 solar panels and operated them on a normal basis to generate thousands of kWh of electricity every month while saving the state electricity.
The car repair station of the Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps introduced a solar generating system of grid-connected inverter type and created its own generating capacity suited to its specific conditions, thus providing power to different kinds of lights, lathes, compressors, motors, etc.
The Central Industrial Art Bureau has created the solar generating capacity in a sunny place and contributed to the hygienic and cultural work of its employees. -0-
