Taean Heavy Machine Complex in DPRK Focuses on Improving Quality of Machines and Equipment
Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK boosts the productivity true to the Workers’ Party of Korea's theory of attaching importance to machinery and equipment.
The research institutes and production units of the complex are increasing the level of updating production processes and equipment while sharing and transferring of excellent experience.
Technicians of the April 15 Technical Innovation Shock Brigade and the Industrial Technology Institute manufactured and installed several electric flatcars and rationally remodeled the main motor speed control device of large lathe to improve the surface finish of products and increase their output.
The field technicians also hastened the technical upgrading of the high-frequency induction furnace, and invented several technical innovations to improve the quality of raw materials.
And they established a process capable of producing cylinders and sheets of various kinds to be sent to the major construction sites in the field of chemical industry. -0-
