KSrelief Launches Project to Support Project for Syrian Orphans and Host Community in Jordan
Amman, October 18, 2024, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a project on Wednesday to support Syrian orphans and the host community in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This initiative is in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
The project aims to improve the livelihoods of Syrian orphans and the host community by providing monthly financial sponsorships for one year to cover their basic needs. Additionally, it seeks to enhance their educational levels through sponsorships, Eid clothing, and recreational activities. The initiative will benefit 1,000 orphans, including both Syrian refugees and those from the host community, residing in various cities such as Amman, Zarqa, Mafraq, Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, Balqa, Madaba, Al-Karak, Tafilah, Ma'an, and Aqaba.
The Secretary General of the JHCO, Hussein Al-Shebli, emphasized that support programs for orphans are one of the key humanitarian initiatives carried out by the organization in Jordan, with generous backing from KSrelief. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its commitment to assisting orphans in Jordan. This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief, which aims to care for orphans worldwide.
