Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Hands Over Second Monthly Financial Aid Installment to Palestinian Finance Minister to Address the Humanitarian Situation in Gaza

Amman, October 16, 2024, SPA -- The non-resident Saudi Ambassador to the State of Palestine and Consul General in Jerusalem, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, has handed over the second installment of monthly financial aid to Palestinian Minister of Finance Omar Al-Bitar at the Saudi embassy headquarters in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The aid is intended to address the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and its surrounding areas.
Ambassador Al-Sudairi stated, "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Palestinian cause in political, economic, and social aspects and fully supports the rights of the Palestinian people."
This ongoing support builds on the Kingdom's previous years of humanitarian, relief, and development aid to Palestine, totaling $5.3 billion.
