New international airport may be built in Jalal-Abad Oblast

The possibility of building a new international airport in Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan is being considered, President Sadyr Zhaparov said in his congratulatory speech to civil aviation workers on their professional holiday.

“Within the framework of the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan, to date, the reconstruction of Karakol, Kazarman, Talas and Naryn regional airports has been carried out. It is planned to resume flights to these airports in the near future. The aircraft fleet is also being replenished and updated with new airplanes,” the Kyrgyz leader said.
