President Sadyr Zhaparov arrives in Rome

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has arrived in Italy’s Rome for an official visit.

The flight of the Kyrgyz leader landed at the international airport of Rome.

President Sadyr Zhaparov and First Lady Aigul Zhaparova were met by Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy Cristiano Maggipinto, Senator of the Forward Italy party Francesco Silvestro from the Italian side, Archbishop of the Holy See Francesco Canalini from the Vatican side, Head of Protocol of the Holy See Javier Fernandez Gonzalez and other officials.

Within the framework of the visit, President Sadyr Zhaparov is expected to conduct bilateral talks with Italian leader Sergio Mattarella, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Giorgio Meloni, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Lorenzo Fontana and Chairman of the Senate of Italy Ignazio La Russa.

In addition, the Kyrgyz leader meet with Pope Francis.
