Bishkek and Riyadh plan to establish sister city relations

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met in Riyadh with Mayor of the Saudi capital His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf.

The parties paid special attention to the development of trade and economic cooperation, promotion of tourism and establishment of business contacts, holding joint events in the capitals of the two countries.

The sides also discussed the establishment of sister city relations between Bishkek and Riyadh, which will contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two cities.

Based on the level of cooperation between the two countries and taking into account mutual interest, Ambassador Maripov and Prince Faisal Ayyaf agreed to work out the organization of visits of working groups of the two municipalities in order to determine priorities and potential areas of cooperation.

In conclusion, Ambassador Maripov invited His Highness Prince Faisal Ayyaf to visit Kyrgyzstan.
