Saudi Foreign Minister Meets with Algerian Counterpart at UN

New York, September 24, 2024, SPA -- Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met today with People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and explored intensifying bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of mutual concern, primarily the situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings.
The meeting was attended by the Kingdom's permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, and the director general of the office of the minister of foreign affairs, Abdulrahman Aldawood.
