Sadyr Zhaparov receives new Korean Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Kim Kwang-jae

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov received today Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Kim Kwang-jae on the occasion of the presentation of his credentials and congratulated him on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the diplomatic relations between the two countries, established 32 years ago, are based on the traditions of friendship between peoples, spiritual and cultural closeness, as well as on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation.

In this context, the head of state emphasized the positive results in the implementation of joint projects in important sectors of the socio-economic development of the country.

Within the framework of the Economic Cooperation and Development Fund (EDCF), various intergovernmental agreements have been concluded between Kyrgyzstan and Korea and important projects are being implemented.

Korean Ambassador Kim Kwang-jae expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted with satisfaction the important achievements of Kyrgyzstan in ensuring economic development, creating jobs and implementing large infrastructure and social projects.

Along with this, Kim Kwang-jae emphasized that the Korean side is interested in deepening cooperation and is ready to share advanced experience and modern technologies to expand the potential for interaction between the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop and strengthen multifaceted cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Korea.
