President Sadyr Zhaparov attends opening of Fifth World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan

On September 8, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov attended the opening ceremony of the Fifth World Nomad Games, which was held at the Astana Arena stadium in the capital of Kazakhstan.
Before the opening of the games, Sadyr Zhaparov was greeted by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, after a joint photo session, the leaders of the countries, as well as the heads of other delegations, headed to the stadium where the opening ceremony of the games was held.
The opening ceremony was also attended by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev and others.
The ceremonial event began with a parade of countries participating in the World Nomad Games.
Then, the guests of the event were shown a video and a theatrical show about the World Nomad Games, the history and worldview of nomads. Creative and dance groups from the countries participating in the games performed.
The Games will be held in Astana from September 8 to 13. Over 3,000 athletes from more than 80 countries will take part in the event.
Having completed his working visit to Kazakhstan, President Sadyr Zhaparov returned to Bishkek on the night of September 8-9.
