Presidents of Mongolia and the Russian Federation Lay Wreaths at the Monument to Marshal Zhukov

Ulaanbaatar, September 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who is on an official visit to Mongolia within the framework of the commemoration of the historic 85th anniversary of the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol paid tribute and laid wreaths at the Monument to Marshal Georgy Zhukov, Hero of Mongolia and four-time Hero of the Soviet Union.

During the wreath-laying ceremony, the National Anthems of Mongolia and the Russian Federation were played by the Exemplary Orchestra of the State Honor Guards of Mongolia.

The two Heads of State greeted senior veterans and attended a military parade dedicated to the 85th Anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol.
