Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Paid a Courtesy Call on President of the Russian Federation Putin
Ulaanbaatar, September 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. On September 3, 2024, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve paid a courtesy call on President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who is on an official visit to Mongolia.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan expressed his that he was happy that President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin visited Mongolia at the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa within the framework of the commemoration of the historic 85th anniversary of the Battles of Khalkhiin Gol. Chairman Amarbayasgalan noted that expanding cooperation with the Russian Federation, a country with traditional friendly relations, is a priority of Mongolia's foreign policy. Chairman Amarbayasgalan emphasized that this visit plays a significant role in strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and Russia and in maintaining the traditional momentum of cooperation.
President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin expressed his pleasure at visiting Mongolia, an eternal neighbor with friendly relations, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Battles of Khalkhiin Gol. President Putin emphasized deep gratitude of the Russian people for the assistance provided by the Mongolian people during the "Great Patriotic War." The Head of State of the Russian Federation also highlighted the importance of interparliamentary cooperation in strengthening and developing the friendly relations between the two countries and their citizens, reports the Media and Public Relations Department of the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
