Saudi EXPRO to Host Inaugural 'Expenditure Efficiency' Forum in November
Riyadh, September 03, 2024, SPA -- Expenditure Efficiency and Projects Authority (EXPRO) is organizing the inaugural Expenditure Efficiency Forum in Riyadh, on November 11-12, 2024, under the patronage of the Minister of Finance, EXPRO Chairman of the Board Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, according to an EXPRO press release.
The forum is set to attract a wide array of local and foreign participants from government and private sectors. These include decision-makers, economic experts, and international academics with specialized knowledge in this field.
EXPRO CEO Eng. Abdulrazzaq bin Subhi Al-Aujan said that sessions bringing together decision makers and experts to exchange knowledge on optimizing expenditure will be held during the forum.
Focus will be on improving the quality of government projects, assets, facilities, and procurement. The forum aims to foster communication between government and international entities, emphasizing the importance of efficiency, quality, and sustainability in financial and administrative sectors.
The forum will also focus on training, institutional excellence, and expending more efficiently in Saudi Arabia, and acknowledging the contributions of public entities.
It will be a platform where successful partnerships are showcased, light is shed on the manner in which expenditures can be more efficient, and the progress made by the public sector since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030 is shown.
According to the release, the forum will feature various activities, including interactive dialogues with decision makers and experts, workshops with public and private entities, and presentations of public agencies success stories.
Initiatives are expected to be launched, and partnership councils will be reached to enhance cooperation and expertise exchange. EXPRO's experience will be showcased at interactive pavilions, and an exhibition will feature over 15 pavilions dedicated to successful partners from public entities.
The "Innovation Challenge" will be a highlight of the forum, engaging over 120 competitors to devise software that enables precise cost determination and allocation for benchmarking for government projects. Special meetings with dignitaries and honoring exceptional expenditure-efficient teams from public agencies are also on the agenda.
EXPRO aims to make government agencies' expenditure more efficient, boost the efficiency of public procurement operations, improve the quality of projects, develop policies, systems, and methodologies, and strengthen national personnel's capabilities.
