President of the Russian Federation Arrives in Mongolia for an Official Visit
Ulaanbaatar, September 2, 2024 /MONTSAME/. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin arrived in Mongolia on September 2, 2024, with an official visit.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia Yevsikov Alexei Nikolaevich, and other officials greeted President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the Russian delegation at the "Buyant-Ukhaa" International Airport of Mongolia.
During the visit, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will hold official talks and participate in the Signing Ceremony for the Cooperation Documents between the two countries. Also, the two Heads of State will hold a press briefing on the outcomes of their official talks.
In 2019, Mongolia and the Russian Federation signed a Treaty on Friendly Relations and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The two countries established diplomatic relations on November 5, 1921, and reciprocally opened their embassies in Ulaanbaatar and Moscow in 1922.
