Brisk Campaign for Attaining Goal of Fruit Production

 Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- The organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) in the fruit farming sector have made signal progress through a socialist emulation.
Kwail County produced more than 25 500 tons of self-sufficing manure through a social emulation among farms and workteams and over-fulfilled the output by taking nutrition care of fruit trees in a responsible way. Therefore, it sent over 1 000 tons of peach to the citizens in Pyongyang.
The Kosan Combined Fruit Farm self-produced various kinds of agrochemicals through emulation among units and established a production cycle of fruit farming and stockbreeding to raise the per-hectare yield higher than last year.
Similar successes were also made at the Onchon Fruit Farm, the Toksong Apple Farm and other fruit farms across the country. -0-
